We don't play with the "screw the dealer" rule. :) No, euchre is not like spades. There are trump cards, and you are trying to take tricks, but that's about where the similarities end. :) Spades is very popular in the military though, and so are dominoes.
I will be really disappointed with HI if the killer is someone we barely ever see, and who has obscure ties to whatever. And, if it involves some detail we didn't even know about, that will make it bad too. Like if Trish kills people because Henry cheated on her a year ago, and we never hear about that incident during the show, that will be cheesy. And some mysteries are weak that way. But the way things are going so far, I wouldn't expect something dumb like that.
