The job offer letter was mailed to her home in Wisconsin. When she says "when you just have to get away" -- as she was in Wisconsin and came to Washington, I'm guessing it was Wisconsin, or at least Pleasant Prairie, that she wanted to get away from.
WPU is Washington Pacific University and is not in Wisconsin. So, she was in Washington for college where she went to a party and we hear nothing more until she accepts a job through a letter mailed to her home in Wisconsin that brings her back to Washington. Of course, one must remember that the letter was mailed to Wisconsin; there is nothing that tells us SHE was in Wisconsin. The letter could have been forwarded to her wherever she was.
So we are back to the beginning because it could have been WPU that she wanted to get away from. We have no info that indicates she finished college.
